Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School At UH Rehabilitation Hospital in Beachwood, Ohio, our goal is to restore lives, helping patients regain their independence so they can return home.
Our 50-bed, state-of-the-art acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital is dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced a variety of conditions.
Job Summary: Actively involved, at the executive level, in the leadership of the organization.
Organizes and administers areas of Patient Care Services.
The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) functions under the direction and supervision of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and assumes responsibility and accountability for Nursing, Therapy, and other clinical departments as assigned.
The CNO in collaboration with the leadership team, develops, implements, interprets and assures compliance with policies and procedures including compliance with federal and state regulations and accreditation standards.
The CNO is responsible for implementing hospital goals and objectives based on budget parameters.
The CNO reinforces the mission and vision of the hospital in all interactions.
Experience/Skills: Graduate of accredited registered nurse program with current licensure in the state.
Master’s degree preferred.
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support required, Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred.
Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) required or at least three years experience in rehabilitation nursing.
Minimum of five years of previous nursing management required.
Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, evaluate and direct activities of clinical personnel; effective oral and written communication skills, in English with additional languages preferred; proficiency in basic computer skills required.
