Chemist

OVERVIEW

Candidate will provide analytical chemistry support to marketed inhalation or transdermal products.

This may include routine or complex analysis, method development and/or validation and technical document authoring.

Candidates will utilize chromatographic techniques such as HPLC, UPLC and GC.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Complete chemical or physical testing to support customer product improvements or investigations e.g.

drug content, impurities, particle size, stability, NGI, and other chromatographic and non-chromatographic characterization tests Utilize HPLC/UPLC, GC and other chromatographic methods Participate in method development and/or validation as needed Record work in an electronic lab notebook (ELN) Participate in technical document writing or review such as protocols, validation reports, specifications and other reports Perform other lab duties such as equipment qualifications (IQ/OQ/PQ) Comply with FDA guidelines and SOPs in a cGMP environment
QUALIFICATIONS
BS in Chemistry or related science with 2+ years of lab experience or MS with 1+ years lab experience cGMP experience required Experience with routine analysis, method development and method validation using either the HPLC, UPLC, GC or other analytical instrumentation Familiarity with Empower, LIMS and electronic notebooks a plus Ability to self-manage timelines and work independently Ability to multitask Flexibility with changing priorities Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Minitab)
