You will assemble and inspect product to ensure the highest quality product is provided to our customers. You will be responsible for your work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area. You will set up and monitor the production of product in your area and participate in the continuous improvement process at the site to address safety, production and quality improvements.Key Responsibilities:Operate in a manner to meet Honeywell HS&E goals by:Adhering to all HON, site and departmental HS&E policies and proceduresDeveloping the ability to recognize hazards and learn the 4 critical errors to avoid putting yourself in harms waySupport and promote a safety culture that inspires responsibility and personal accountability for your own and co-workers safetyDemonstrate active employee engagement in the Safety Structure Process by completing APT’s, ISC’s, JSA’s, Safety Inspections,TSO’s, and What If drills in a manner that demonstrates commitment to our HOS/HSE culture and as assigned.Utilizing the “Safety Stop” procedure if a job cannot be started and/or completed safety.Responding to safety incidents per site and department procedures (Requires being able to wear the SCBA for certain situations).Manage hazardous waste in a manner to meet corporate, site, and departmental procedures and to maintain regulatory complianceMust pass a Pulmonary Function Test (for respirator use)Promote, participate in and support HOS/Lean Manufacturing by:Display understanding and commitment in achieving HON, site, department goals, and personal goalsEngage and promote the HOS learning culture in a manner that inspires and supports continuous learning and development through knowledge sharing, coaching, discovery, active listening, and self-awareness throughout the site, functions, suppliers, and customers.Actively participating in the continuous improvement process (Kaizen/PDCA)Developing the ability to conduct/complete Rapid Problem Solving & Root Cause AnalysisUtilizing the visual management boards and escalation process per standard workBeing engaged in the Tier and PDCA meetingsImproving and sustaining the areas 5S Housekeeping processesBecoming knowledgeable of department’s material replenishment processes and adheres to them.Function at a level where minimal errors are made, and a high output of quality work is produced while operating safely.Display ownership and sense of urgency in meeting the department daily objectives.Strictly follow all Standard Operating Procedures and Standard Work while Demonstrating the ability to create and improve standard workLearn & perform all operations involved with prepping, sampling, bottling and packaging of products, including:a) Operate bottle washing machine.b) Load, unload, and operate conveyor systems as required.c) Sample, fill, package, and label all products according to Standard Work.Extended Responsibilities:Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)Willing and able to cross train in production area filling large containers that contain 200 liters of solvent.Willing and able to back fill for the CPOIII position; scheduling, planning, leading others, learn SAP label makingEnsure that all waste generated in respective areas is managed according to regulationsFrequent lifting 15-35 lbs. approximately 40-100 times per hour.YOU MUST HAVE* High School Diploma or GEDWE VALUE* Minimum of 1 year of work experience* Experience supervising, leading, or scheduling work for others* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Excellent interpersonal skillsAdditional Information* JOB ID: HRD144393* Category: Integrated Supply Chain* Location: 1953 South Harvey St,Muskegon,Michigan,49442-6184,United States* Nonexempt*Honeywell is an equal opportunity employer.
