We want you to apply now Job Summary: The Certified Surgical Technologist is an active member of the nursing team in the Operating Room. You will participate in Performance Improvement Activities to assure continuous Quality Improvement. You will maintain cultural and diversity awareness when dealing with patients, visitors, and co-workers. You will promote a supportive, teamwork-oriented environment. You will fulfill departmental responsibilities with the long-range plan, mission, vision and values of Horizon. Job Duties: You will function under the direct supervision of the OR nurse. You will assist the OR nurse in assessing the needs of the patients, infancy through life span, and for organizing and planning care sufficient to meet identified needs during the intra-operative phase, by performing technical duties as assigned. You will be cross-trained/oriented to Endoscopy. You may be asked to precept/mentor other individuals within their realm of expertise.
