+ SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY – Job Summary (general statement of purpose or objective of position)+ Accepts and organizes assignments as delegated by the LPN/RN. Provides care for residents hygeine: ie. Bathing, toileting, peri-care, grooming, shaving, nail care, shampoo, oral care and bed making. Performs activities to assist with residents nutritional needs. Bowel and bladder needs are met per standards of care. Assists with resident’s sctivity needs as assigned, ie. ambulation, moving, lifting and positioning. Residents needs are met upon request. Exhibits knowledge of resident rights as observed by the LPN/RN’s. Takes necessary precautions to ensure residents are safe. Takes necessary precautions to ensure infection control is met. Consistently performs CNA skills, ie. vital signs, foley care, specimen collection, use of lifts and equipment. Acquires and maintains current knowledge and competency in CNA practice. Meets attendance policy and enhances team effectiveness by dependability.+ MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS – Knowledge, skills, abilities, license, registration, certification, education, and experience+ Current State certification, C N A, and in good standing. Long Term care experience prefered but not required. Must be able to approprietely communicate, speak and write, display courtesy and respect for others. Problem solve/prioritize/initiative needed. Team work is essential. Generates enthusiasm , dedicated, caring and enjoys elderly adults.
