We are offering competitive rates, shift differentials, excellent benefits (eligibleday one), 403B with company match and opportunities for development and growth.Summary Description:Under the supervision and guidance of a licensed nurse, the CNA is responsible for assisting with direct patient care within the scope of their practice as well as other work on the unit which supports the patient environment.

The CNA assists staff to ensure optimal patient care and assists the healthcare team to provide and maintain a clean, safe, and attractive environment for patients.

Work will include components of direct patient care, nutrition, observation, documentation, transportation of patients and supplies, and general maintenance of the patient environment.

The CNA is responsible for maintaining his/her own clinical and mandatory education requirements and for meeting the established standards of their profession as well as those accountable for his/her practice, assigned duties/patient care, and is an advocate for patients/families and their profession.

Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.

Demonstrates knowledge of age-specific patient populations and cultural diversity during the provision of patient care.

Contributes to the provision of quality care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.

Provides nursing care to residents of The Loomis Communities Nursing Centers in accordance with current Federal, State, and local regulations and facility policies and procedures, under direction of nursing staff, by performing the following duties.Essential Functions:Performs job functions in a manner consistent with the mission and goals of the Loomis Communities.

Adheres to The Loomis Communities Compliance and Ethics ProgramDemonstrates an awareness of, a respect for and attention to the diversity of the people with whom they interact (persons served, personnel, families/caregivers, and other stakeholders) that is reflected in attitudes, behavior and servicesAssists in activities of daily living requirements and tasks in care and treatment of residents with person-centered care approaches while offering meaningful choices to each person served, as directed in the daily living guides to assure the physical comfort, safety and mental wellbeingTakes and records temperature, pulse, respiratory rate, blood pressure, I and O, weights and observes and reports signs/symptoms, reactions and changes to resident condition.

Utilizes appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics to strive for healthy living for all staff and residentsMaintain a neat and clean environment to comply with safety regulations, infection control standard at all timesParticipates on various committees, education opportunities, complies with all CARF/CCAC, OSHA, DPH and other survey/ inspections guidelines and standards, and completes mandatory training programs to provide the highest standard of services and to advance new ideas and approachesComplies with resident rights and confidentiality in a manner consistent with age specific competenciesQualifications:Required Education:Must have completed a state certified nurse aid training program with a certificate in good standings, Basic CPRh3.

License(s) (Required/Preferred): Nurses aid certificationh3.

Skills/Competencies: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
