Certified Medicine Aide (CMA) Responsibilities:

• Provide residents with medication administration and treatment assistance and services according to health care provider’s orders
• Supervise residents who self-administer medication while following company and regulatory guidelines
• Report any changes in residents’ physical condition and/or behaviors
• Maintain resident records regarding medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, and observations

Certified Medicine Aide (CMA) Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED.
• CMA License in the state of Maryland
• Previous CMA experience required, and must also be a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Must be experienced in administering oral, topical, optic, ophthalmic medications, and subcutaneous injections.
• Must be able to multi-task and proceed with tasks in a courteous and professional manner.
