In this role you will have the opportunity to: Ensure laboratory environment and practices comply with guidelines set forth by company and regulatory agenciesEstablish and implement GMP and GLP practices and proceduresLead by example and serve as functional expert in the area of laboratory compliance and safetyPerform routine technical laboratory experiments and proceduresDevelop, perform, and maintain laboratory contamination surveillance and decontamination program to ensure amplicons and other ANA (Amplifiable Nucleic Acids) contamination is prevented The essential requirements of the job include: Bachelors degree (preferably in Science) with two (2) or more years experience in molecular diagnostic, pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical industry; OR Masters degree with 0 years experienceKnowledge and/or hands on experience with GMP test sample collection and samplingAbility to support a 24/7 production and laboratory working environmentKnowledge of GMP equipment preventative maintenance and calibration programDemonstrate strong attention to detail, excels in fast faced team environment, able to multi-task, highly self-motivated and goal oriented It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Laboratory techniques (e.G., PCR testing, lab aseptic techniques)Prior experience in environmental monitoring programLaboratory internal and external audit experience is desirable Cepheid, a Danaher company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
