Cato is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join its Distribution Center who enjoys the challenge of change and is willing to let their skills and expertise guide them to the next level of success.

Responsibilities:Direct/indirect support of productivity improvement for the distribution networkDriving successful efficiency and improvements, standardization, labor management objectives and high quality/accuracy initiatives and/or results in the daily production operationDriving and delivering ongoing continuous improvement initiativesProviding project management for major initiatives; and Maintaining an optimal, cost effective, distribution process and flow of products to our stores and customers.Qualifications:Minimum of 10-15 years related experience in a fast paced production environment (retail distribution or eCommerce preferred)New DC start up experience and time and motion standards developmentBachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent from an accredited Industrial Engineering program is requiredProficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, Outlook and Auto CADAbility to communicate and negotiate effectively (verbal and written are needed for success in this position.Cato employees enjoy competitive salary and terrific benefits including medical/dental, 401(K), employee stock purchase plan and more.
