Cashier

Creative Dining Services is hiring Cashier at John Brown University

*We have2 part time positions available *Schedules may include at least one weekend shift *We close at 7 or 8:30 pm, So no late nights!

Creative Dining Services is looking for a Cashier. The Cashier itemizes guest purchases and processes transactions of cash, check, credit or debit in payment. Greets guests as they enter or exit the dining area.

Core Responsibilities

*Follows all cash handling procedures. *Counts back change correctly. *Runs a register, other devices and Credit Card Machine accurately. *Ensures accurate accounting of all transactions, collections and disbursements during work shift. *Communicates with our guests in a friendly manner. *Stock shelves and items *Prep Sandwiches and grab & Go items *Helps keep area clean.

The ideal candidate will have:

*High School graduate or equivalent preferred *Basic reading and math skills *Must be able to communicate and understand primary language(s) use by guests who typically visit the work location *Knowledge and ability to operate cash register and various payment forms

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $11.00 – $12.50/hour.
