HomeRiver Group is looking for a full-time Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the team. The right individual must have strong attention to detail, ability to multitask and keep open communication within the team. To succeed as an accounts receivable specialist, you should be a skilled and thorough researcher with excellent communication and record-keeping skills. You should be detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated with strong math and computer skills.Key Responsibilities* Accurate and timely posting of daily cash receipts including checks, ACH, and/or incoming wires* Prepare and submit daily bank deposits* Research and resolve discrepancies due to adjustments and/or incorrect payments* Process approved refunds/credits* Establish good working relationship with field staff and assist with any questions or updates needed* Respond to inquiries promptly and accurately* Maintain files and documentation thoroughly in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices* Perform administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, filing paperwork, and routine file review/maintenance* Other duties as assignedCore Competencies* Extraordinary attention to detail and must be highly organized* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and professionalism when interacting with internal and external contacts are essential* Problem solving skills* Ability to complete projects and tasks in a thorough and timely manner* Strong computer skillsEducation and Expertise* High school diploma or equivalency* Accounts Receivable Experience: 1 year (Preferred)* Experience with Property management industry and/or PropertyWare software is a plusHomeRiver Group is an Equal Opportunity EmployerAbout HomeRiver GroupHomeRiver Group is an integrated national platform offering world-class property management services to owners and tenants in the single family and small multifamily rental (SFR) markets.
