There are a variety of roles and responsibilities within this title.

The types of roles available require maintaining equipment in the wastewater facility and boiler system.

Troubleshooting, ensuring proper maintenance and operational status of equipment Performing other duties as assigned, while making safety the number one priority.

Wastewater Operator/Boiler 1 requires being able to read manuals written in English and the ability to write and document information.

Principal AccountabilitiesOperating and maintaining boiler facilityOperating and maintaining waste water facilityEquipment and facility rounds to ensure proper and safe operation of systemParticipation in revision or creation of operating proceduresParticipation in incident investigationsParticipation in compliance auditsParticipation in conducting training or developing training materialsParticipation in pre-startup safety reviews or management of change proceduresParticipation in internal and external inspections Required QualificationsMust be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorshipMust be 18 years or olderMust have high school diploma or GED equivalentMust have basic math skillsMust be able to read, write, and speak English.Must have knowledge of hand and power toolsWillingness to participate in HAZMAT membership, at minimum supporting roleHave state issued operator driver’s license Preferred QualificationsPrevious industrial maintenance experienceTwo year degree that relates to the maintenance fieldExperience using a powered industrial truck (PIT)Boiler 1 certificationClass 1 Wastewater operator certification Considered candidates will receive a phone call from a (952) area code.
