Job Summary The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will oversee the Company’s key data warehouse and reporting needs.
This will include the development of reports in PowerBI, querying data using SQL and various data modeling functions.
They will ensure that our stakeholders reporting business requirements are met and have access to reports and adequate training to retrieve information.
The Business Intelligence Analyst will support the strategic direction of our enterprise data warehouse, including the long-range planning, and technical architecture.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Work with outside vendors on file delivery, format, and timing Create and modify queries and stored procedures Create and modify Microsoft PowerBI reports Lead the build out of enterprise reporting and analytics capabilities, tools and functions Participate in data design and the creation of database architecture and data repositories Lead/develop processes for auditing data warehouses and ensuring data quality Utilize Business Intelligence tools to build and support dashboards Interpret business requirements; design, build and test processes to ensure a high level of data quality and optimal system performance Develop creative solutions to problems Partner with other team members as well as cross-functional partners to support business processes and system solutions Required Education, Skills and Abilities BS in Computer Science, Analytics, or a similar field; Master’s degree preferred Advanced experience and knowledge with Microsoft SQL Server and SSMS Intermediate experience and knowledge working with PowerBI Advanced experience in writing SQL queries Advanced experience in Microsoft Excel Willingness to learn and work in a team environment Strong communication skills to translate business requirements into technical specifications Strong analytical and problem solving CFS2021
