Business Development Opportunity in Financial Services
Business Development Associate (Relationship Management)
Location: 2300 Windy Ridge Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30339 preferred, open to remote opportunities

Summary:
The Business Development Associate is responsible for assisting the team in building and strengthening relationships with the affiliated financial professionals as well as our partners.
This position will develop and maintain organized records of meetings with financial professionals, deliverables and outcomes including; preparing handouts, materials, and agendas.
They will help identify opportunities and help financial professional connect to the appropriate resources.
Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain and support relationships with high potential financial professionals and the RVP, Business Development.
Support the assessment of the health of a financial professionals’ business across key areas of business development and practice management leveraging business intelligence tools.
Drive adoption of the suite of resources, tools and services by connecting financial professionals to these solutions based on their needs and readiness to integrate them.
Connect financial professionals to firm resources, including proprietary consulting tools, research and subject matter experts.
Assist with issue identification and directing resolution to the right area(s).
Act as an advocate in helping financial professionals resolve issues and roadblocks and communicates feedback to the appropriate area.
Update and maintain current information in CRM tool.
Manage shared calendar and other infrastructure to support outreach and follow up efforts.
Coordinate and conduct proactive advisor outreach campaigns.
Develop and maintain organized records of meetings with financial professionals, deliverables and outcomes including; preparing handouts, materials, and agendas.
Support various Securities America councils and working groups by managing agendas, meeting notes, and communications.
Support gifting programs and appreciation events for financial professionals including but not limited to retirement, tenure celebrations, office visits, and other life events as appropriate.
Assist recruiting in onboarding and continuous consultation of new financial professionals during and after transition.
Other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred, high school diploma (or equivalent) in combination with significant experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Basic Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial services including familiarity with multiple functions within a financial services firm.
Understanding of the practice management challenges and hurdles that inhibit the growth of independent financial advisory practices and how to present enterprise capabilities and platforms to solve for those challenges.
Demonstrated ability to effect and manage change within an independent financial professional’s business Proven history of results in engaging with financial professional practices and driving positive and productive outcomes.
Strong communication skills including presentation, written and verbal.
Ability to independently analyze and present solutions for financial professional growth or in response to financial professional requests to director, executive and C-suite level
Preferred Requirements:
FINRA Series 7, 66 licenses preferred.
Willingness to undertake additional licensing is a plus.
