Cascade Farm and Outdoor is looking for a bookkeeper to join our growing team.

We currently have three stores that are located in Walla Walla, WA and Coos Bay, OR, and Keizer, OR.BenefitsCompetitive wagesHealth/RX/Vision/DentalHealthcare Flexible Spending AccountPersonal Time OffPaid holidays401(k)Employee Stock Ownership PlanFun company eventsPosition OverviewThe Bookkeeper is responsible for the daily sales reconcilement, banking, and other accounting functions.ResponsibilitiesInvestigates and reports accounting discrepancies and accounting policy and/or procedure violations to managementHandles returned checksMaintains game commission record keeping and reportingResponsible for mail sorting, distributing, filing, and other record keeping dutiesResponsible for moderate daily data entry.Be extremely organized with both job duties and work area.Complete duties, often under tight time constraints, accurately and by deadlines.Maintain friendly, positive demeanor at all times.Assists on the sales floor helping customersPerforms any other duties as assigned by store managementBasic QualificationsMust be self-motivatedAbility to positively interact with othersDatabase experience with exceptional data entry speed, accuracy, and attention to detail.Ability to effectively send and receive communicationAbility to read English and write it legiblyAbility to perform basic math functionsAbility to analyze, reason, and make decisionsAbility to learn and retain new skillsExperience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and OutlookAbility to treat sensitive information in a confidential matterPreferred Qualifications1 years of retail experience1 years of accounting/bookkeeping experienceRequired EducationHigh school diploma or GEDDo you have what we’re looking for?
