Find your future with us.Position Overview:Boeing Defense Space & Security: Bombers and Fighters (B& F) Engineering Quality has an exciting opportunity to join our team as the Project Engineer to support Bombers and Fighters Engineering in executing process improvements and addressing B& F Engineering associatedcustomer issued Corrective Action Requests.

Position Responsibilities:Address B& F Engineering associatedcustomer issued Corrective Action Requests to include coordination of Corrective Action Plans, Implementation, and Verification.Provides the Engineering leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas and functions.Facilitating recurring meetings, technical exchanges and reviews involving multiple internal and external organizations across multiple engineering disciplines and functions.Supporting assessment and collaborative resolution of complex cross-functional technical issues amongst multiple diverse stakeholdersDriving results through the development, implementation and maintenance of rigorous processes, tools, schedules and metricsDefines plans for risk mitigation and opportunity.

This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to the Bombers and Fighters Leadership Team and likely broader exposure to BDS Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supplier Management Leadership.

Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.An interim and/or final U.S.

Secret clearance Post Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry1 or more years experienceleading projects or engineering teams1 or more years experience with producing technical communication both written and verbalWilling and able to obtain a US Government Secret security clearance Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience leading cross functional teams or projectsExperience with RCCA and Quality ConceptsExperience working on a military/defense program/contractExperience with Supply Chain processesExperience interfacing with DCMA/Defense CustomersExperience providing briefings to senior and/ or executive level managementExperience working with organizational leaders to develop & implement plans & objectives to meet requirements and create reports for management reviews & track performance to plan.

Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.G.

Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.G.

PhD, Master+3 years’ related work experience).

In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
