What better way to cultivate community than to use the power of food as a way to bring people together!As a team member of Blended Culture, we want YOU to also feel taken care of and feel like you are an intricate part of our community.What You’ll Do:Welcome guests as they sit downInteract with guests while maintaining a professional work environmentAssumes 100% responsibility for their guests’ experiencePresent drink and food menus, make specific recommendations and answer questions regarding all menu itemsTake customer orders in-person and over the phoneResponsible for processing cash and credit card transactionsThank guests for their visit and invite them to returnAttends all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvementNotify Floor Manager/Bar Manager any time a guest is not 100% satisfied with their experienceKeep a neat organized, and sanitary work spaceResponsible for the restocking and replenishment of inventory used by Front of HouseOccasionally serve cocktails on tapAbide by the TABC and our policies concerning alcohol consumption and safety procedures to prevent over intoxication and underage sellingComplete knowledge of food and bar menusFollow opening & closing procedures properlyWhat We’re Looking For:Must be at least 18 years of agePrevious experience preferredExperience with a POS systemBasic coffee, liquor, beer, and bar terminology knowledge preferredUnderstanding of Beverage and Food Handling policies and procedures and current TABC/ABLE/TIPS certificate holderMust be able to carry at least 40 lbs.A personable individual, who has a ” Can do” attitude, and is willing to help the FOH and BOH teams whenever neededAn individual who is both guest-focused & team-focused.
