Well now it is time to actually learn how to be a lawyer.

Law school was the ticket that got you to Nepal, but now you have to start climbing.The trek from Kathmandu to Everest Base Camp is approximately 40 miles one-way and takes about six days.

It doesn’t require any technical expertise or mountaineering skills, but it takes a while to get acclimated to the elevation.

You have to trek over rocky and sometimes snowy terrain that can slow down the process.

Most of the attorneys that we hire for this position have never practiced law before, let alone personal injury.

We invest a significant amount of time teaching our new lawyers the nuances of the practice and passing along the decades of experience and lessons learned.

But at the end of the day, we can’t do the hike for you.

The right candidate for this position has to be willing to do the work.We are looking for lawyers with 0-3 years of experience that are interested in learning how to take on the insurance industry, fight for their clients and make the community a safer place for everyone to live.

You might not remember, but in your Torts class you learned the two pillars of Tort law – (1) compensation; and (2) deterrence.

When it comes to personal injury, most people only think of the first pillar, compensation, but there is an equally important purpose when it comes to the personal injury practice and that is to deter the type of conduct that caused the injury in the first place.You must already be licensed to practice law in Colorado to be considered for this position.

You must have an extreme attention to detail.

Have a fast-paced work ethic that allows you to meet tight deadlines (24-hour deadline with a to-do list a mile long?

No problem!).
