AWS Lead
Experience: 10+ years
- Good knowledge in Life science Commercial, Managed Markets domain with experience, budgeting, forecasting and Latest Estimates with exposure to GxP
- End-End functional knowledge of LS commercial and Managed Markets systems.
- Hands-on experience in AWS services like EC2, S3, Glacier, ELB, RDS, Redshift, IAM, Route 53, VPC, Autoscaling, Cloud Front, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, Cloud Formation, Security Groups.
- Knowledgeable in AWS networking, security, identity and access management, DNS, etc.
- Experience with Terraform or cloud-native scripting languages (ARM / CloudFormation / Cloud Deployment Manager)
- Deploy and monitor scalable infrastructure on Amazon web services (AWS) & configuration management.
- Experience in AWS Design, Landing Zone Implementation, Application Assessment, and Planning Operations.
- Working with a strong team of architects, backend developers to gather functional and non-functional requirements.
- Candidates should be flexible/willing to work across this delivery landscape, which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support, and Deployment
- Work closely with application teams to advise on CD practices and assist in implementing cloud-ready and cloud-native solutions
- Experience in AWS, DevOps & Cloud migration engagement.
- In-depth experience SQL, PL/SQL stored procedures, indexes, materialized views, shell scripting, partitioned and non-portioned tables, packages, and triggers for improved database performance.
- Build and implement a continuous integration and continuous deployment platform (CI/CD) for EDP data pipelines
- Manage, maintain and create automation of the organization’s AWS accounts. Includes Lambda functions written in Python, CloudWatch alarms
- Develop and execute best practices, including providing solution architectures and strategy for adoption
- Implement monitoring and management tools and deployment processes and tools to provide visibility with a focus on high availability
- Experience with AWS Products, e.g. Athena, Glue, RDS, S3, EC2, RedShift etc.
- Partner with respective departments to develop practical automation solutions and participate in cross functional team meetings to collaborate and ensure successful execution.
- Diagnose systems issues with multiple influencing factors
- Maintain internal documentation that fully reflects all activity related to an application and environment to be used by applicable teams.
- Support performance and test automation integration into the CI/CD pipeline, troubleshoot and resolve operational issues
- Assist in issues arising from product upgrades, installations and configurations.
- Participate in professional associations, outreach activities, or appropriate educational opportunities to stay current on industry best practices and relevant technical skills
- Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland’s Information Systems Security Policy
