Prominent business litigation firm located in Century City is seeking a part-time, remote business litigation attorney to assist with motion drafting, discovery, and conducting legal research.

This opportunity will be part-time to start, roughly about 20 hours a week but may scale to 40 hours in Q1 of next year.

Top applicants will have 5+ years of substantive litigation experience in areas of complex business and real estate litigation experience.

Duties include but are not limited to drafting various motions to include Motions for Summary Judgement and Oppositions to MSJs, all forms of discovery, meet and confer, legal research, and trial preparation.

Professionals should have recent experience litigating complex cases in LA Superior Court and be familiar with a wide spectrum of business disputes.

License to practice law in the State of California in good standing with the California State Bar a must.

Job Requirements:
– Licensed attorney with 7+ years of experience

– Must possess analytical, legal research and writing skills

– Civil litigation experience preferred

– Good understanding of Discovery Requests

– Proficiency in Defense Litigation

– Defense litigation experience

– Previous experience working with Discovery

– General familiarity with Draft Motions

– Earlier work involving Discovery Responses

– Proven knowledge of trial preparation

– Practical knowledge of Draft Pleadings

– Wide ranging experience with e-discovery

– Command of Complex Commercial Litigation

– Skills in e-discovery

– Commercial Litigation experience

– Well-founded grasp of legal research

– Quality experience with Discovery

– Excellent attention to detail

– Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment, to prioritize client matters and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent through each task performed

– Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired
