Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group, recently voted #1 in the nation as the best large company to work for by National Mortgage News, is seeking a Level 1 Servicing Coordinator for our Virginia Beach office!
The Level 1 Servicing Coordinator is the main point of contact for our borrowers and loan officers after a loan closes.The ideal candidate for this entry level customer service position is patient, empathetic, and passionately positive.
They are confident at troubleshooting and investigate if they don’t have enough information to answer customer questions or resolve complaints.
They love to talk and understand the value of good communication skills.
What you’ll be doingField phone calls and emails from borrowers and loan officersCall borrowers regarding past due mortgage paymentsProcess phone payments made by borrowersPost mortgage payments to borrower accountsMail payment letters to borrowersForward payments to investorsProcess check requests What you’ll bringCustomer service experience required; mortgage industry experience is a plus.Strong phone handling skills with active listening.Exceptional computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel, Word and Outlook.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Dependability with an independent work ethic.Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.Uplifting disposition and ability to work well in a team setting.Analytical and effective at problem solving.Ability to work efficiently and effectively in fast paced environment.
