Aston Carter: Production Planner – Remote

Description:This position will help order and evaluate materials, problem-solve production issues, and assist with daily administrative operations.

This role offers a hybrid work schedule where candidates will be able to work mostly from home and come into the office on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities:Evaluating purchase orders to create suitable production schedules.Estimating the amount of material, equipment, and labor required for production.Promptly addressing and resolving production issues to minimize delays in production.Coordinating production operations in accordance with the material, labor, and equipment availability.Recommending viable solutions to reduce production costs as well as improve production processes and product quality.Effecting changes to production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met.Compiling status and performance reports and submitting them to management in a timely manner.Promptly informing the relevant departments of changes to current production schedules.Additional Skills & Qualifications:1+ years of Production Planning, Scheduling, OR Procurement experienceMust have experience working with Oracle or some other MRP system (Material Requirements Planning System)Lean Manufacturing experience is a plusAbout Aston Carter: At Aston Carter, were dedicated to expanding career opportunities for the skilled professionals who power our business.
