Associate Veterinarian

Associate Veterinarian position available in beautiful Northern Minnesota!!

Multi-practice/doctor location with strong presence in the regional area!! Practice offers state-of-the-art technology for small/mixed animals. Additionally, top priority is placed on providing tools necessary to ensure top health care for animals. This is done by all doctors at the practice staying current with new technology and the latest advances in animal care. Responsibilities:

-Take care of animal care needs in the community by practicing ethical veterinary medicine according to all applicable laws and codes

-Performing all common surgeries, including use of state of the art facilities and technology

-Partnering with clients to plan follow-up visits and education to ensure the long-term health of their pets

-Fostering an effective veterinary support team by communicating medical standards, ethical practices, and your unique veterinary knowledge and experience

Requirements:

-Background/Experience in small animal, ideally (but not required)

-Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate well with others

-Ability to support practice needs by doing on call work, on a rotating basis

-Passion for being involved in the local community and being the face of the practice
