ABOUT THE POSITION:
As their Associate Commercial Underwriter, you will be a key point of contact and liaison between the underwriter and other agency support contacts.
The Associate Underwriter will provide support in marketing, evaluating, and pricing new and renewal business within commercial auto/trucking target classes.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:
- Associates degree or equivalent years of experience.
- Prior commercial truck Commercial Auto or Transportation underwriting experience.
- Associate in Commercial Underwriting (AU) designation preferred.
- Proficient computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, including ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
