Reports to the Dean of the School of Nursing and Allied Health..

Job Responsibilities.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:.

Planning and delivery of course material, clinical instruction and evaluation of students in both undergraduate and graduate level courses in the Sport Management programs..

Advise undergraduate and graduate sports management students..

Collaborate with sports agencies, community programs, and professionals..

Continue professional development in the discipline via professional organization membership and research.

Participate in faculty governance, committees, and other events/organizations on campus..

Create an engaging learning environment that is effective and encourages student involvement, participation, and learning..

Participate in retention and recruitment of students..

Perform other responsibilities requested by administration..

Actively integrate the Christian faith in teaching..

Qualifications.

Required Qualifications:.

Earned doctorate from an accredited university in the field of Sports Management or closely related field..

Experience in the sports industry with leadership experience..

Evidence of collaboration with sports agencies, community programs, and other professionals..

Preferred Qualifications:.

Minimum of three years of teaching experience at the university setting..

Evidence of scholarly activities..

Experience with the delivery of instruction at the university level in online environments..
