SummaryThe Assembly Operator assembles flexible and semi-rigid RF cables toengineering specifications. The Operators solder and weld connectors to cablesaccording to customer requirements.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReads and interprets engineering documentsFollows work instructions to produce flexible and semi-rigid cables percustomer requirementsWorks with Engineers to problem solve production issuesPreps cables to prepare for assemblySolders or welds connectors to cablesMeasures and bends specialty cables to specific dimensionsCompletes required documentationQualifications/RequirementsHigh School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience manufacturing cable or cable assemblies, preferredAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructionsAbility to read micrometers and calipersAbility to read, speak and understand EnglishWelding or soldering experience, preferredAbility to perform basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply anddivide), including working with fractions and decimals.Ability to work with effectively with small hand tools and microscopesAt Times Microwave Manufacturing we have an exceptionally clean andquiet environment.
