Asphalt Plant Operator Job Description Summary Performs a wide range of laboring duties within an Asphalt Plant to ensure operations run smoothly. Maintains excellent housekeeping around the plant by shoveling, operating the bobcat, performs repairs as needed to plant equipment and performs maintenance in order to keep the plant running. Requirements Operates plant according to production schedule using appropriate materials. Monitor asphalt operation to ensure quality mix. Performs a wide range of laboring duties within as Asphalt Plant. Assist in plant maintenance and in compiling reports regarding plant production and maintenance. Properly follow all company policies along with OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment. Ability to direct other plant employees. Managing safety program at the plant at all times. Customer focus. Preferences 2 to 5 years previous experience.
