Job Mission
ASML/HMI brings together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography & metrology machines, as well as computational lithography & control software.

HMI’s metrology development engineer is responsible for develop application by high resolution e-beam systems to provide monitor and control solution for advanced nodes in semi-conductor industries.
“This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R.

§ 730, et seq.).

Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.

Business demands may require ASML to proceed with applicants who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.”
Job Description
Develop e-beam metrology applications on new technologies or novel platforms.
Design and implement new functionalities with adding value to HMI’s hardware portfolio.
Test new application functions to achieve metrology performance requirement on semiconductor process.
Document and transfer new applications to worldwide customer support team.
Engage with the customer on novel application products for new business opportunities.
20% travel is required.
Education
M.S.

and above in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Material Science or Chemical Engineering.
Experience
3-5 experience in related fields is a plus for candidates, including IC manufacturing, semiconductor process technology, metrology or equivalent experience.
Hands-on experience on material analysis, SEM metrology or semi-conductor process is required.
Able to operate data visualization tool (excel Marco/JMP/Spotfire).
Script level programming skills is plus, including Matlab, Python or C++.
Personal skills
Communication skill: Able to communicate with counterparts efficiently on project work.
Team work: Good team player to drive product development with stakeholders.
