Aon Executive Compensation Advisory is part of the Human Capital Solutions practice at Aon plc (NYSE: AON).
Job Responsibilities: Client contact for the Compensation Committee, Board and C-suite.
Directs area of business within local market, sub-regions, or vertical sectors.
Provides leadership, counsel, and planning to direct reports and other internal resources.
Typically, responsible for a portfolio of clients and an annual sales goal of $2.0M-$3.0M.
Focuses on planning and executing during the current year in own functional area but participates in establishing multiyear (1-3 years) market strategies and business plans with others leaders in the market Execution/client delivery of high calibre professional advice including client reports.
Developing and training team members on execution/client delivery Identification and management of new advisory opportunities.
Business development initiatives and leading client engagements including managing the RFP process with the client, Procurement and Legal.
Technical knowledge on Executive Compensation.
To include corporate governance on Executive Compensation, and incentive design including selection of performance measures, performance calibration and equity plan valuations.
You Bring Knowledge and Expertise A proven track record of acting as a trusted advisor to clients at Board level.
Strong interpersonal skills building and managing client relationships Collegiate team player and proven experience of mentoring a team, committed to developing team members.
Good communication skills both written and face-to-face, ability to simplify and summarise complex information based on client needs.
Able to manage stakeholder requirements and expectations.
Sales experience with proven success.
Strong presentation and communications skills (both verbal and written).
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple initiatives.
Articulate with clients and staff providing practical context when communicating technical knowledge of Executive Compensation, including Executive Compensation governance, investor relations and legal requirements.
A thorough understanding of remuneration and the issues affecting reward.
Incentive design experience, including selection of performance measures and performance calibration.
Sound understanding of the financial services, technology sectors and share plans, the current challenges and outlook Professional qualification and degree level education.
