DNV – Energy Systems is seeking a Solar Energy Analyst to join our team. The primary function of this position is to assess the solar resource and expected energy output of proposed or operational solar projects across North America. We use a variety of analytical tools including Python to provide robust, tested, repeatable, and statistically significant conclusions to our customers. We don’t expect you to know everything, but we are looking for open minds and fast learners who are driven by the desire to contribute to the energy transition and halt the climate crisis. This position may be based in any location within the contininental United States, including remote (home) offices; however candidates located in the following places will be given preference: Oakbrook, IL (Chicago); San Diego, CA; Oakland, CA. Other preferred locations include: Austin, TX; Portland, OR; Seattle, WA; or Medford, MA.

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, DNV provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $67000 – $103000
