While a career in consulting can be fun, fast-paced and unpredictable, typical day-to-day responsibilities include:* Using our vast array of tools and technology to conduct high-quality research that captures information on corporate financial performance and compensation practices* Analyzing and synthesizing data sets to identify trends that are valuable to the client project* Developing clear and informative visuals to communicate client specific analytical findings* Assisting in writing and assembling customized client reports that are then used to drive strategic recommendations for the Board of Directors and/or C-Suite.One unique aspect to Pearl Meyer is that we are not a standard executive compensation consulting firm where you are pigeonholed into working on one type of project or industry.
From the first week, our analysts get exposure to a variety of industries (Oil & Gas, Retail, Technology, Life Sciences, Banking, etc.) in both the private and public marketplace.
In addition, our regional staffing model means that our analysts work with project managers and senior consultants in multiple offices which facilitates their own personal growth and development.
All work completed at Pearl Meyer is customized to the client, which allows our consultants to develop the strategic skills and depth of knowledge necessary for long-term success.
Typical client projects can range from executive compensation, board of directors compensation, employee pay and salary structures, designing short
– and long-term incentive plans, assessing pay-for-performance, developing or updating severance arrangement terms, ensuring pay equity is appropriate, transitioning private companies into a public setting and/or providing updates on governance trends to ensure clients are informed and compliant.The Person:Pearl Meyer is seeking a self-motivated and results-oriented analyst to join our high performing consulting team.
