AmeriCorps NCCC (National Civilian Community Corps) is a full-time service program that covers lodging and travel expenses, allowing young adults to serve on a team and make an impact in communities across the country while gaining valuable leadership skills.
AmeriCorps team leaders in the NCCC Traditional Corps program deploy to one of our training locations, then travel with a team of 8-12 young adults, ages 18-26, throughout their assigned region for 11 months of full-time, immersive service.

Your team could be doing anything from building a house to running a youth summer program to repairing hiking trails in a national forest, so openness to new experiences is key.
As a team leader, you will be crucial to your team’s success.
You’ll be responsible for directing, motivating, and mentoring a diverse team of young people.
Partner organizations and AmeriCorps staff will look to you for coordination of project logistics.
