AmeriCorps NCCC (National Civilian Community Corps) is a residential service program for young adults who want to lead a tight-knit team while making a difference across the United States.

AmeriCorps team leaders in the NCCC FEMA Corps program deploy to one of our training locations, then travel with a team of 8-12 young adults, ages 18-26, throughout their assigned region for 12 months of full-time, immersive service.

Your team could be conducting data entry, mapping disaster evacuation routes, or helping sign up survivors for assistance, so adaptability is key.

As a team leader, you will be crucial to your team’s success.

You’ll be responsible for directing, motivating, and mentoring a diverse team of young people.

FEMA and AmeriCorps staff will look to you for coordination of project logistics.
