Ambulatory Surgery/Recovery Room RN (Benefit-Eligible)

This is a Contract position in Bryan, OH posted July 22, 2021.
Schedule:
- Full time (80 hours in a 2 week pay period)
- Variable hours
- Revovery Room Call required
Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure in Ohio
- CPR certification required
- ACLS certification or obtain within one year of starting the position.
- PALS certification or obtain within 2 years of starting the position.
- Work independently within scope of practice.
- Maintain level or professionalism through continuing education.
- utilize evidence and science to guide practice.
Essential Job Duties:
Total nursing care of the patient both preoperatively and postoperatively. This includes but is not limited to: assessments, plans of care, discharge planning/teaching, completion of preoperative checklists, cross-training to PACU, initiate and monitor intravenous infusions, review and act on test results, other duties as assigned.
