Aircraft Painter

Chipton-Ross is seeking an Aircraft Painter for an opening in Mesa, AZ.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepares, paints, and finishes coating to aircraft, parts, and assemblies. Lay out paint schemes and designs. Performs specialized paint assignments. Identify nonconforming detail parts, assemblies and processes. Work with engineering to improve manufacturing processes.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Prepares, paints, and finishes coating to aircraft, parts, and assemblies.
o Lay out paint schemes and designs.
o Performs specialized paint assignments
o Must be properly trained and physically capable of wearing a respirator
o Must be able to utilize and maintain painting equipment

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
o Minimum of 1 year experience finishing and painting in either Aircraft, Automotive or Marine Industry
o Minimum of 1 year experience working with engineering to improve manufacturing processes
o Minimum of 3 years’ experience identifying nonconforming detail parts, assemblies and processes

DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
o Minimum of 5 years’ experience painting aircraft
o Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or Accredited GED

FULL TIME/SECOND SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 1:00 PM – 10:30 PM
The selected candidate must be able to work any shift, as assigned.
