Job Description: SAIC is hiring an Agile Coach with SAFe implementation experience to support the Army Corp of Engineers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for enabling, guiding and teaching high performing teams to deliver industry leading IT solutions in support of digital transformation.

In this role, you will lead an Agile delivery transformation initiative from scratch.

Most of the organization is delivering legacy waterfall projects and the vision is for most efforts to be Agile/sprint driven.

Location: This is a 100% remote position that can be worked from anywhere within the United States.

Job Duties:
Mentor internal team members and external customers by establishing partnerships and key stakeholders as a value-driven leader to help ensure optimal program deliveryFacilitate a team dynamic to optimize the value streams and performance by constantly improving habits, culture and best practices with the team and organizationTrain teams on the agile methodology and oversee the development of agile teams to ensure effective program outcomesBe responsible for guiding teams through the implementation process and encourage the team and leadership to embrace agile methodsLead scrum of scrum / SAFe PI type efforts utilizing Agile industry best practices and valuesMentor and guide product owners on innovative delivery methodologiesIntroduce emerging Agile frameworks to optimize quality deliveryPossess skills and experience to perform in various Agile team rolesExtensive experience in working with Agile Project Management toolsPrioritize PBI with internal customersDevelop and document best practice approaches and reusable assets.Document and follow established processes Agile/Project development work.
Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree and 10 years’ experience supporting large digital transformation efforts or service management systems or IT integration efforts such as NaaS, PaaS or ITaaS efforts.

An additional 4 years of directly relevant experience required in lieu of a degree.

3-5 years of IT life cycle development; preferably DevOps environment

Good skills and knowledge facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.

Excellent interpersonal / communication skills

Knowledge of various well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown technologies, various Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.).

Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
US Citizen with an Active Secret Security Clearance
Desired:

SAFe certified

ACP PMI
– Agile Certified Professional

PMI
– Project Management Professional
ITIL 4 Foundation Certification

Target salary range: $125,001
– $150,000.
