Responsibilities/Qualifications: Buchanan Meadows Senior Living Facility in Buchanan MI is hiring activities assistants.Activity assistants are needed to work with our senior residents.
The responsibilities are to work one on one and in large groups.
Plan and implement activities such as activities in the building, outings and assisting with activities brought into the facility.
The ability to motivate residents to participate in activities is needed.
Good party planning and decorating skills.
Documentation of participation and changes in residents health is required.
The duties are:Plan and implement activities for residents, encouraging and motivating them.
Emphasize independence and maximize ability so that residents attain/maintain their highest level of functioning Completes weekly documentation of resident progress to supervisor.
Develop, implement, and maintain an ongoing quality assistance program.
Works with families and residents to ensure that restorative program is offered to all that qualify.
Ability to carry out the plan of care set forth by the Physical Therapist.
