Accounts Payable Specialist

A growing manufacturing company located in Carol Stream is hiring for an Accounts Payable Specialist!

Pay rate: $24-30/hr + benefits + weekly pay

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of full cycle accounts payable experience
• Experience with 100+ manual invoices
• Manufacturing industry experience
• Excel experience (V-looks ups Pivot tables)
• HS Diploma or GED minimum

Duties:

• Entering invoices
• Processing payments and cutting checks
• Maintaining vendor records
• 3 way match
• AP processing
• 1099 maintenance
• Reconciling vendor statements, and researching discrepancies
• Adhoc reporting utilizing Excel to extract data from system

Environment:

• All duties being handled manually in a high volume environment (700 invoices monthly with this individual handling roughly 300 of those on their on monthly.
• Company is currently going through a system implementations and this person needs to be able to come in and make an impact immediately.
• Managers will be focused on the systems integration so they need an expert to handle the daily tasks and functions of the role.
