A promising Industrial consulting company is working with Robert Half Finance to find an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk interested in developing their career.

The ideal candidate for this position can match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.

The job site for the full-time Accounts Payable Clerk is in the Atlanta, Georgia area.

What you get to do every day:
Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis Provide customer service to internal business partners Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents Provide internal and external audit assistance as required Perform special projects as assigned Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling Manage full-cycle A/P

Job Requirements:
Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred Prior experience in an A/P role required Strong experience with internal customer service, coding invoices, and 3-way matching Strong proficiency with researching accounts payable matters as needed Highly organized and self-motivated Proficient with spreadsheets and databases Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds Foundational knowledge in Microsoft Excel NetSuite experience
