AAA Oregon/Idaho: Community Partnerships, Latino Programs

AAA Oregon/Idaho is looking for a professional in fostering partnership to join our marketing team, with a specific focus on supporting our Latino/Hispanic communities.In this position, you will work closely within the marketing and membership teams to design and implement community outreach, brand awareness, and engagement with AAA Oregon/Idaho in a way that ensures value and trust in the members we serve.You will coordinate and participate in onsite and virtual community events, festivals, and sponsorships.

While this position has specific coordination responsibilities over current Latino Community programs, you will also have the opportunity to design and grow relationships with other key community groups.Internally, you will lead our Latino Resource Group and partner on internal diversity, equity, and inclusion belonging programs ensuring we reflect the members we serve.Desired qualities:3 years experience in communications, marketing, community-based programs, event-coordination or similar, with specific experience positively partnering with Latino/Hispanic communitiesFluent verbal and written Spanish/English bilingual skills required.Experience developing and maintaining community partnershipsKnowledge of diversity principles, practices, and procedures.Strong organizational skills, ability to consistently meet deadlines and the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities required.Must be a self-starter, and able to manage projects from start to finishExperience executing upon brand marketing voice and style guidelinesExperience hosting virtual events and meetings using appropriate software.We offer competitive pay, time off programs, health, dental, disability/life insurance, up to 9% 401(k) total employer contribution, and AAA membership, and more.

While some onsite presence is required, it is eligible for Hybrid Work-From-Home after the training period.When it is safe to do so, this position will be out in the community, participating in events that include networking and representing AAA at events.

When needed, under COVID-19 safety protocols, community activities will be primarily remote in nature.AAA Oregon/Idaho has taken strict precautions to ensure the safety of team members onsite including face-coverings, physical distancing, limiting staff onsite, and additional cleaning and hygiene protocols.
