– AAA will value your contribution to providing exceptional service to our membersSummaryEssential FunctionsPerforms routine vehicle inspections, oil changes, other fluids services (brake fluid, coolant, transmission, etc.), flat tire repair, tire dismounting/mounting/balancing and other maintenance-related services.Interprets and completes work orders and related documentation assigned by shop manager.Documents include, but are not limited to, parts requisitions, diagnostics reports, inspection forms and recommendations.Assists other technicians as assigned.Maintains clean and orderly work area.
Returns shop supplied equipment to proper locations, ready for other technicians to use.Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesClear and proficient verbal and written communication even under pressure.Common knowledge of vehicle components and the common reasons for vehicle failure.Education & Experience/Licenses & CertificationHigh school diploma or equivalentAutomotive trade school certification or equivalent experience0
– 2 years experience in inspecting and repairing cars and light trucksASE certification a plus or equivalent knowledge in areas of repair responsibilityCalifornia Smog License Valid Automobile Operator’s License a plusApprenticeship level and recent graduates in Automotive Technology welcomeMEL
