Functions under the supervision of a surgeon or registered nurse to ensure that the operating room environment is safe, that equipment functions properly, and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety.

Applies sterile and aseptic technique that combines the knowledge of human anatomy, surgical procedures, and implementation of tools and technologies to facilitate a physician’s performance of invasive therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.Experience Requirements:1 Year Clinical Surgical Technician PreferredEducation Required:High School Diploma or Equivalent Required And Graduate Surgical Technology Required Or Military Surgical Technology RequiredLicensure/Certification Requirements:Certified Surgical Technologist RequiredHours of Work:3p-11p, Monday FridayWeekend Requirements:No WeekendsCall Requirements:Yes
