SUMMARY– VP of Production & Repair

The VP of Production & Repair is responsible for successful onboard, planning, and managing resources and materials to successfully deliver and execute to Spencer’s contractual agreements with clients. This role will be both customer and internal facing to ensure concerns and escalations are handled in a timely manner and we are constantly improving and increasing throughput, profit margin & overall capabilities.

Role and Responsibilities – Primary

· Grow and mentor the leadership teams in both Repair & Production

· Manage & approve operational and inventory costs where applicable

· Work with management team to budget, staff up/down and allocate space needs for upcoming projects, peaks season needs and business volumes

· Responsible for budget profitability within Repair & Production teams

o Planning oversight for repair stock to meet demand

· Work to identify and implement operational efficiencies

· Continue to build out core capabilities within Spencer’s Production & Repair service delivery team

o Educate potential clients/customers about Spencer’s capabilities, throughput capability and ability to scale

· Partner with Warehouse & Logistics operations team to ensure smooth transitions of parts/products to and from teams so deadlines are met and we are providing exceptional services to our clients

· Partner with People & Culture to resolve any personnel issues in a fair and consistent manner

· Other duties as assigned

Required Skills

· Minimum of 5-7 years experience in a director role

· Production, Staging & Repair experience required

· Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Highly organized; must be able to handle multiple tasks with speed and accuracy

· Must be capable of prioritizing activities and scheduling to obtain effective results

· Highly motivated individual with a “can do” attitude

· Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; looks for ways to improve and promote quality

· Familiarity with ISO 9000 standards a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $150,000.00 per year
