Veterinary Technician

VCA Fairway Animal Hospital is currently looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our outstanding team. We are a busy eight doctor practice situated in a beautiful neighborhood in the heart of Fairway, KS. This progressive practice is both AAHA and Fear Free certified. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem solver with a client centric orientation and a strong drive to be part of an innovative team. We are looking for someone who is not afraid of change and is eager to grow. An individual with positive and upbeat personality that enjoys working hard while having fun would fit in well with our team.

At VCA Fairway we pride ourselves on providing the best possible care for our pet patients. For this reason, we are passionate about continuing education for our team members. We also continue to invest in the best equipment including a laparoscopic surgery unit, endoscopy, K-laser, ultrasound, digital radiology and full in-house laboratory equipment. As we continue to grow, we are looking to expand on our urgent care, critical and emergency services. A technician with a desire to specialize their skills and/or with a background in emergency medicine with be an ideal fit for this position.

This is a full-time position that would include some Saturdays and evenings. There will also be occasional Sunday and holiday shifts to care for pets staying in the hospital.
