Tire Technician

Overview: Motivated tire/general service technician with experience, detail-oriented goals and positive attitude needed to complete our team. About Company: Old Dominion Tire Services, Inc is a family owned and operated business located in Midlothian VA.  We have prided ourselves on being a business who exceeds the customers expectations for over 30 years.  We have 7 mechanical bays, 2 tire bays, 2 road/OTR service trucks and existing plans to expand.  The ability to provide our customers comprehensive repair and replacement options at our location and in the field, from routine tire maintenance to acquiring tires/rims/wheels, all are essential to the relationships we have established and nurture.   Job Responsibilities: Work with tires of numerous sizes, including and not limited to: passenger, light truck, trailer, medium truck, farm and OTR.Maintain cleanliness of tools and bays.Ability to work by yourself and as a team.Variety of tasks, including all levels of tire repair, wheel balance, tire rotations and replacement.General service technician tasks, such as: oil changes, general safety inspections, etc.Continued educationMaintain all certifications, continue to acquire additional certificationsAbility to diagnose repairs, formulate quotes, work with service writers to order tires and supplies.Job Requirements: Virginia Driver’s LicenseTIA Certifications (preferred)Drug free work environment (pre-employment testing required)Benefits: Hourly rate with possibility for commission every week (no current flat rate, no current limit to 40 hours)Work week is Monday through Friday (no weekends)Approximately 40 to 50 hours per weekPaid time off5 paid holidaysHealth insurance401/IRALife insurance after 1 yearHow to apply: Respond to ad or apply in person at:3111 Warbro RoadMidlothian, VA 23112
