What is the job all about?
Our Hawaii Environmental Division has an immediate opening for a Technician. This position is responsible for the performance of tasks associated with tank cleaning, hydro blasting, and other general mechanical work. This includes, but is not limited to, in-place retubing, turn-key work on Fin Fans and Heat Exchangers, and specialized hydro blasting projects. The Technician will engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting, pulling and pushing heavy objects and often will operate both light and heavy equipment including, but not limited to: work trucks, diesel powered hydro blasters, fork lifts, man-lifts, air compressors, pressure washers, light towers, etc. The position requires the ability to demonstrate strong work ethic, solid mechanical abilities, robust knowledge of tools, safety adherence, and strong sense of commitment and strong desire to succeed.
The Ideal Candidate. . . .
If you hold a High School diploma or equivalent and have held at minimum an entry level position particularly in the Industrial Environmental services industry for 1+ years and have proficient experience relevant to the position we want to talk to you! Our Technicians hold a key position in our organization. The candidate must possess strong working knowledge around safety, engineering, and other regulatory issues as they relate to facilities, i.e., OSHA regulations and fire codes.
Requirements:
Pay Range- Starting between $17-$19/hour DOE
