KFS is looking for Field Survey Technicians available for assignments at various CONUS / OCONUS locations. The Field Survey Technician utilizes GPS and utility locating equipment, such as Ground Penetrating RADAR (GPR), to find and map utility infrastructure. Simultaneously, the Field Survey Technician records detailed information about the assigned utility, such as type, size, and identifying markings. The Survey Technician will also document the feature with photographs. Once the field data has been collected, the Survey Technician will be responsible for organizing and transferring the data in a manner that prevents the data from being lost or from having to be recollected. The role entails extensive interaction with military and civilian personnel in a military setting.

Job Profile: Field Survey Technician is an entry-level full time position with career progression opportunities. The role is assigned to survey projects at various locations. Assignments range from several days to several months depending on size of project. 100% travel is possible.
Compensation A competitive hourly wage plus insurance and retirement benefits are available.
