Surgical Technician II

SUMMARY: Assist the surgical team to prepare operating room and patient for surgery, assist surgeon during surgery, assist with patient transfer/transport and room and equipment cleanup.

Required Education/Training: Graduate of a school of surgical technology or equivalent combination of education and work experience Required Experience: Demonstrated proficiency as a surgical technician Required Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Healthcare Provider Preferred Education: Associate#s Degree Preferred Experience: Two (2) years of experience working as a surgical technician or first assist Preferred Licensure/Certification/Registration: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) #CB
