The SPD tech is an entry level position in which not all aspects of the SPD job description have been completed.

This positions must learns to clean, decontaminate, assemble, dispense, sterilize, Inventory supplies, order supplies and transport these items to the pt care areas, hospital depts.

and the operating room.

The technician performs delegated duties consistent with his/her scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery at RMC.
