Specimen TechnicianClinic location: Wahiawā, HIType: Part TimeSchedule: Monday 8am – 11am & Monday – Friday 1pm – 4pmTotal: 18 hours a weekPay: $16.50 an hr. ***Opportunity to pick up extra hours Monday/Wednesday/Friday between 10:00am – 2:00pm!RequirementsFemale required for observed collectionsMust be comfortable driving to multiple clinic locations in Wahiawa and HonoluluMust have reliable transportation, proof of automobile insurance that shows you are covered under that policy, and a valid Driver’s license. THE ROLE:Collecting patient urine and/or oral fluid (saliva) specimensAccurately processing and packaging these urine and/or oral fluid specimens for shippingRecord and transfer patient information, physician order details, and pertinent laboratory information into our electronic systemObtain financial information related to 3rd party reimbursementsObtain prior authorizations for urine drug tests based on payor specificationsOrder and maintain inventory of applicable suppliesBe present, punctual and available at all scheduled work timesPerform direct observations during specimen collection, if applicableWHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:Enjoy interacting with clinic staff, patients and field & headquarter based co-workers from all backgroundsBasic Computer skills-working knowledge of Office 365, general typing abilities and attention to detail for data entryExcellent communication skills, written and oral, with clinic staff, patients, field managers and home office.Work within Precision compliance directives – including Federal/State regulatory laws, HIPAA, and OSHAValid drivers license and car insuranceReliable transportationMaintain a professional appearanceComplete all required training during onboarding and ongoing active employmentADDITIONAL JOB CONSIDERATIONS:Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, bend, and liftMust be able to lift 15 pounds401k with company matchPart TimePlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
